Decentralized GPU Cloud

For Use Guide of Gata Decentralized GPU Cloud, please visit here.

Open Execution Infrastructure for AI

Gata is an API-driven decentralized AI platform that unifies globally distributed, user-owned compute into a powerful, ready-to-use cloud service. By transforming idle GPUs into an open and verifiable AI compute layer, Gata makes AI universally accessible, 15× more affordable, and free from centralized control — unlocking the trillion-dollar AI economy on-chain.

Backed by YZi Labs, IDG Blockchain, Maelstrom, Gate Ventures, Manifold, and other leading Web3 investors, Gata is building the world’s most open compute infrastructure for the next generation of AI developers.

What Gata Solves — Key Pain Points in Today’s AI Infrastructure

Current AI cloud infrastructure is fragmented, expensive, and opaque. Gata’s Decentralized GPU Cloud (DGPU) eliminates these barriers through decentralization, automation, and interoperability.

1. High Cost of Centralized Compute

Traditional clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) charge excessive rates for GPU instances and bandwidth. Gata’s decentralized GPU layer aggregates global idle GPUs, reducing compute costs by up to 15×.

2. Limited Accessibility & Scalability

GPU supply shortages and regional monopolies restrict model training. DGPU enables on-demand access to distributed GPUs across regions, scaling elastically with workload needs.

3. Complex Setup & Slow Configuration

AI developers spend hours setting up CUDA, drivers, and frameworks. Gata provides ready-to-deploy containers and VM images — run PyTorch, TensorFlow, or custom models instantly.

4. Data Lock-In & Vendor Dependence

Centralized platforms lock data and workloads within their ecosystems. Gata ensures data sovereignty, letting developers deploy workloads where they choose — on-chain verified and user-controlled.

5. Opaque Pricing & Manual Quotation

Legacy GPU rental services often require manual quotes and hidden fees. DGPU’s credit-based model introduces transparent, on-chain usage tracking and cost visibility.

Decentralized GPU Cloud (DGPU)

Now live in beta, Gata’s DGPU Cloud gives developers direct, permissionless access to GPU resources across a decentralized network.

  • Currently live: GPT-based model deployment and inference

  • Coming soon: support for a wide range of AI workloads, including

    • LLMs (Large Language Models)

    • VLMs(Vision-Language Models)

    • TTS (Text-to-Speech) systems

    • Diffusion models for generative art and imaging

    • Popular ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX

Developers can access GPUs through containers or VM images via SSH, with serverless APIs and credit-based compute scheduling launching soon.

Getting Started with Gata DGPU

1. Connect & Log In

Visit decloud.gata.xyz/login and connect your wallet to access the DGPU Cloud. No manual approval is needed — your wallet acts as a secure entry point for decentralized compute access.

2. Select Your GPU Model

DGPU currently supports NVIDIA L40S – GPT OSS 20B, optimized for high-performance inference and large model workloads. More GPU models and configurations will be added as the beta expands.

3. Access Your Environment

Choose your preferred access method:

  • Containerized environments or VM images via SSH for full control.

  • Pre-configured AI stacks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, CUDA) for fast deployment.

  • Serverless APIs (coming soon) for frictionless, on-demand compute.

4. Request Free Beta Credits

After logging in, share your wallet address with the Gata team to receive free DGPU credits. Credits can be used immediately for compute workloads — no fees during beta.

5. Train, Deploy & Monitor

Once credits are activated:

  • Upload or import your models into the GPU environment.

  • Run, benchmark, and scale workloads in real time.

  • Monitor GPU performance and usage through your DGPU dashboard.

Why It Matters

Traditional clouds are centralized, costly, and restricted by location and licensing. Gata’s DGPU network decentralizes compute supply, making it open, affordable, and verifiable.

With DGPU, developers, startups, and enterprises can:

  • Scale compute globally without vendor lock-in

  • Run workloads with full transparency and data ownership

  • Leverage decentralized credit-based billing for flexible access

The Road Ahead

Gata’s DGPU Cloud is the foundation of a broader modular AI execution ecosystem — connecting compute, data, and models into a collaborative, on-chain infrastructure. This evolution will empower a truly decentralized AI economy, where builders own the tools that power intelligence itself.
