Questions that you may want to ask

What is DataAgent?

DataAgent is a lightweight software module that runs on your device to help validate, process, or generate AI training data. It enables users to contribute computing power and intelligence to the Gata network in a decentralized way.

Why does Gata offer DataAgent?

Gata offers DataAgent to scale the creation and curation of high-quality datasets through a distributed community effort. Traditional data pipelines are centralized and expensive — DataAgent transforms anyone’s device into part of a collaborative AI data engine.

How does DataAgent work?

Once installed, a DataAgent connects to Gata’s backend and pulls small tasks (like evaluating image-caption pairs). It runs local AI models to complete the task, submits the results, and checks against peers via consensus. If your output aligns with others, you earn Intelligence Points.

How is DataAgent used by verified Web3 projects or Al companies?

The data refined or generated by DataAgents becomes part of frontier-grade datasets used by trusted AI labs and Web3 projects. Whether it's cleaner training data for multimodal models or new benchmarks for open-source development, DataAgent makes it possible to crowdsource quality at scale — with transparent, verifiable provenance.

What is Gata Intelligence Point?

Gata Intelligence Point is non-transferable credit earned by users for contributing data or computing power to the Gata ecosystem — such as sharing conversations, selecting AI preferences, or running DataAgents like DVA. They serve as a transparent record of your participation across different data domains.

Is my personal data secure while using DataAgent?

Yes. Gata DataAgents only process publicly available data (such as image-caption pairs) and do not access your private files or personal information. All tasks are sandboxed, and your device’s privacy and security are fully respected. You are always in control.

How to use DataAgent?

To use DataAgent, simply download the software from the official Gata portal, log in with your Gata account, and start processing data tasks. The agent will automatically fetch tasks (like evaluating image-caption pairs), run them locally, and submit results — all in the background.

Can I install DataAgent on multiple devices?

Yes, you can install DataAgent on multiple devices as long as they are linked to the same Gata account. This allows you to contribute more computing power — and potentially earn more Intelligence Points — in a fair and verifiable way.

Can I create multiple accounts to earn more?

No. Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of farming rewards is against Gata’s community guidelines and may lead to disqualification or blacklisting. The system is designed to reward genuine contributions, and misuse undermines the fairness of the network.

Are there any restrictions or limitations when using DataAgent?

Yes — to maintain fairness and system integrity:

  • There may be cooldown periods between tasks to prevent server overload.

  • GPU capability may affect how efficiently you can process tasks.

  • Consensus-based validation means rewards are only given if your results align with peers.

  • Points are awarded based on quality, not just quantity — consistent, accurate results matter.

Make sure to keep your agent updated and follow official guidelines for the best experience.
